NOTICE TO BIDDERS -- ALBANY COUNTY
REQUEST FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for One New 2009 4x4 Ford Escape Hybrid as requested by Albany County Department of Public Works, will be received by the Albany County Purchasing Agent, Room 940, 112 State Street, Albany, New York 12207 until 11:00 AM, local time on Thursday, May 15, 2008. At this time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and an award made as soon thereafter as practicable.
Any Bid not received and time stamped by the Albany County Department of General Services, Purchasing Division by 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 15, 2008 will not be accepted.
Bid specifications may be obtained at the office of the Albany County Department of General Services, Purchasing Division, Room 940, 112 State Street, Albany, New York 12207, by the prospective Bidder or his designated representative. 
Complete Request for Bid documents may be available for download from the Capital Region Purchasing Group Internet web site at http://www.govbids.com/scripts/CRPG/public/home1.asp starting by close of business (4:30 p.m.) on May 1, 2008.
The Purchasing Division shall keep a record of all prospective Bidders obtaining Bid documents. Any Bidder not on record as having received Bid documents from the Purchasing Division shall not be considered for a Bid award.
Albany County reserves its right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids.
Minority Business Enterprises and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond.
