Investigator reports again Mary Jo White, the Manhattan attorney who is conducting an investigation into allegations against Bishop Howard J. Hubbard, issued the following statement last week: "The independent investigation is proceeding actively and we have received cooperation from many members of the public. Since our investigation began on Feb. 16, we have spoken with more than 200 people, including priests, former priests, and lay people. We thank them for their cooperation. "We are today reminding and urging anyone who may have information relevant to the allegations of sexual misconduct by Bishop Howard Hubbard to come forward at this time. "We want to thank the public again for their cooperation as we continue and complete our investigation."
