A funeral Mass was offered May 27 at at Maryknoll Seminary in Maryknoll, N.Y., for Rev. Frank O'Donnell, who died May 16. He was 88.

A native of Troy, he was an infantryman during World War II, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. He then entered the Maryknoll order in 1946 and was ordained in 1955 and assigned to Formosa/Taiwan, where he served for 53 years, particularly serving the deaf/mute population there. He retired in 2008.

Survivors include his brothers, James of Latham and Joseph of Troy. Interment was in Maryknoll Society Cemetery, Maryknoll.
